Merit Badge Registration
Merit badge registration begins on April 20th 2021 at noon. Scouts must be paid in full to register for merit badges.
Camp T-Shirt & Patch
All Scouts whose fees are paid in full will receive one camp t-shirt and patch during the week they attend camp. To ensure that all Scouts receive their t-shirt during check-in on Sunday, t-shirt sizes need to be selected during the online registration process. The t-shirt will be given out during check-in on Sunday. The camp patch will be distributed in your unit’s check-out packet.
Leader Fees
All troops in camp must have at least two adult leaders (over 21 years of age) with the troop 24-hours a day. The Hawkeye Area Council will provide free registration for the first two leaders in each unit attending Scouts BSA Resident Camp. When registering online, please specify your two free leaders using the appropriate category. Other leaders must be registered using the appropriate per day or per week category. Adult leaders may trade off for each other during the week as long as 2-deep leadership is maintained at all times. Female troops must have at least one registered female leader present at all times.
Participant E-mails
While not required, we encourage you to enter emails into the system when registering individuals. If a Scout's email matches the email used for their My Council account, Scouts will be able to view their own merit badge schedules, completions records, and incomplete requirements in their My Council account. Scouts can also pay their own balances online through their My Council account if the unit prefers this option.
